Te aka Māori dictionary
Te Aka Māori Dictionary is quite comprehensive for both Māori to English and vice-versa. Most words have audio, so you can hear the pronunciation from a native speaker. I find searching an English word doesn’t always give clear results. Often the most common word is not the first entry, which can be confusing.
Paekupu - Dictionary
Paekupu is an alternative to Te Aka. It also has audio and categorises words by area of knowledge. It’s great for technical words and tends to be clearer with its meanings, but it is not as comprehensive as Te Aka (yet).
He Pātaka Kupu
He Pātaka Kupu is a dictionary written entirely in Māori. While this makes its use somewhat limited for new learners, it can still provide a useful reference to extend your use and to find usage examples of kupu. (Pātaka = storehouse)
Kupu - word of the day and some grammar
https://kupu.maori.nz/ has a featured word of the day, lists of words, and grammar. I like the “kupu o te rā” (word of the day) which includes simple example phrases, and notes about the grammar and usage. There’s lots of good content around basic sentence structure as well.
Learn Māori
The Learn Māori site looks to be a personal project, and there's not a lot of info about who it's by, but overall the resources look pretty good. I'd take the content with a grain of salt, as I have noticed the odd mistake, but it's still worth a look.
