Te Wiki o te Reo Māori
Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori grew out of a single "Māori Language Day" set up in 1972. In 1975 we started celebrating Te Wiki o te Reo Māori – Māori Language Week and have been for 50 years. It acknowledges and celebrates the Māori language as a unique cultural treasure for all New Zealanders.
