Beginnings

  • The 'tā-' words always include me and you.
  • The 'mā-' words (plus 'ahau') always include me but not you.
  • The 'k-' words always include you but not me.
  • The 'rā-' words (plus 'ia') include neither you nor me.

Endings

  • The '-ua' words always refer to TWO people.
  • The '-ou' words always refer to MORE THAN TWO people.
